Capital Interests: Golf Edition

Welcome to the Golf Edition of Capital Interests.
In this edition, we’ve rounded up venture capitalists and angel investors who know that some of the best deals don’t happen in boardrooms — they happen between holes 7 and 8.

If you’ve ever thought, “I could close a pre-seed round faster than I can sink this putt,” this one’s for you. Explore our curated list of golf-loving investors and find connection points that go beyond pitch decks.P.S.

If we missed someone from your weekend foursome, let us know!

What is Capital Interests?

Most founders start looking for investors by filtering for industry, stage, or check size. That’s fine. It works. But it leaves out something that may have a bigger impact: the relationship. It's the thing that might get an investor to spend more time with you outside of a fundraise process. That time could help them uncover what's special about your startup or develop excitement for you as a founder.

That’s the idea behind Capital Interests. We’re curating our own hand-researched lists of investors who share real world interests with founders, not just a sector focus or thesis fit. These aren’t scraped directories or bloated databases. They’re built to generate good personal relationships in the industry that may or may not lead to something more professionally.

This isn’t about hacking fundraising. It’s about making it more human. Let us know what you think about Capital Interests.
